From Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” to the Aphex Twin’s “Come to Daddy,” there are a plethora of dark, twisted and creepy music videos out there. Here are three of the most disturbing music videos that creep me out:

3. Yeasayer – “Madder Red”

Yes, it’s sweet how Kristen Bell loves her glob of a monster so much. But the thing is creepy, especially when he coughs blood. This image remains stuck in my mind.

2. Robbie Williams – “Rock DJ”

The lyrics are “time to move your body” not “time to remove your body.” Please put your skin back on. Tell the cannibal chicks to stop eating your innards. It’s gross. I don’t wanna watch, DJ. But it’s like a train wreck. I can’t stop.

1. Soundgarden – “Black Hole Sun”

I saw this video on MTV when it came out in 1994. I was in middle school. It disturbed me. I will never, ever, forget this video. The creepy smiles. The barbecued Barbie doll. And worst of all—the vanilla ice cream oozing out of a girl’s mouth. I don’t eat vanilla ice cream anymore.
